Flooding at the Garrison – Attached is an article that appeared in the Echo re the recent flooding. The article did not contain all the facts that Peter Lovett wanted conveying but it has set the cat among the pigeons! See also below phot from 24th November 2000


East Beach – a) Attached is an article that appeared in the Echo re East Beach plans (just a proposal at present). B) From Mandi (one of our observant members) On Wednesday I had a chat to the man who is replacing the cctv cameras on east beach. He said they should be up and running very soon with a main office in Southend in control.

From Nicky Snoad – Volunteers needed – The new Lidl on the Garrison is going to be a collection point for foodbank donations.  They’re also going to be making some fresh food available for us to distribute each week.  We’re looking for someone, or a team of people working together, to collect donations on a Thursday morning and bring them to the church. Could you help?  If so, please get in touch –
